How to correctly install greenhouse film

With the continuous development of facility agriculture, film greenhouses are an important facility for agricultural cultivation, and their construction scale is increasing. When building various types of greenhouses, the correct installation of greenhouse film is an important technical link.

1. Before installation, the greenhouse film needs to be stored in a shaded, ventilated, and dry place. It must not be exposed to the sun or rain to avoid accelerated aging of the greenhouse film.

2. When installing the greenhouse film, the main frame of the greenhouse is generally a steel structure, and some connectors and standard parts must not use dirty and rusty components. Exposed sharp corners should be wrapped with small pieces of film or transparent tape to prevent tearing of the greenhouse film.

3. Greenhouse membranes generally have multiple functions such as light transmission, heat preservation, anti-drip, and anti-dust accumulation. When installing the greenhouse film, the film needs to be tightened and flattened. Shading is beneficial to the light transmittance of the greenhouse, thereby increasing the photosynthetic efficiency of the crops.

4. Greenhouse films are divided into front and back sides, which are usually indicated on the film. Install the front and back sides according to the indications. If installed improperly, not only will it not be able to perform its intended function, but it will also seriously affect the service life of the film.

5. The film should not be installed when the temperature is too high, because the film at this time expands due to heat, and when the temperature decreases, the film will shrink, causing cracking and tearing. If it is an original summer installation of Goshen Greenhouse, it is generally installed in the morning or evening when the temperature is relatively low and the wind is light. If it is winter construction, it is generally installed at noon when the wind is light.

6. When installing the greenhouse film, if it breaks, it should be repaired with special film repair tape. If patching tape is not available, clear tape can be used instead.
