Temperature and humidity are an important part of a multi-span film greenhouse. The humidity of a multi-span film greenhouse is very different from that of an open-air greenhouse, which is mainly due to the suppression of air exchange. The water supply of multi-span thin film greenhouses mainly relies on irrigation. Traditional furrow irrigation creates an environment of high moisture, high evaporation, and high humidity in both air and soil. Once encountering low temperature conditions, water vapor will turn into water droplets on crops, causing greenhouse downy mildew, late blight, early blight, etc. to become destructive disasters.
For the high-humidity environment of multi-span film greenhouses, corresponding measures should be selected for adjustment. The reason for the high humidity in the room is caused by the airtightness. In order to prevent the room temperature from being too high or the humidity being too high, ventilation should be chosen. As mentioned before, natural ventilation is generally used to adjust the size, timing and location of vents to achieve the purpose of reducing indoor humidity. Mechanical forced ventilation conditions are more effective.
In addition, covering the greenhouse with mulch film can greatly reduce soil water transpiration and reduce air humidity. Choose micro-irrigation technology to control the amount of irrigation, save water and reduce humidity.
